Early Beginnings of La Cocinera:

La Cocinera which translates to “the cook” in Spanish, started out at the Harker Heights Farmers Market with a small booth under a pink canopy.  The goal was to introduce the community to other types of foods from numerous Latin countries.  Every Saturday a new dish was introduced and by popular demand the idea of opening a restaurant was born.

Goals of La Cocinera:

At La Cocinera Restaurant our goal is to provide new cuisine from numerous Latin countries like Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico, Cuba, and Argentina among other countries all under one roof!  We want to change the way Central Texas eats!
